LIVING HOPE MINISTRIES

We believe that involvement in outreach, worship, fellowship, and discipleship should be the norm for all believers. Our goal at Living Hope Church is to assimilate every member into the life of the church by offering a variety of enriching ministry opportunities in these areas.

Living Hope Worship

Worship
Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 a.m. Worship is a time set aside to focus specifically on God. Each week our outstanding praise team leads us in an uplifting mixture of contemporary and traditional music. The teens often perform dramas which are designed to highlight the pastor's message. Pastor Dale then gives a challenging, biblically-based sermon which deals with areas of need in all our lives. A nursery is available for infants and toddlers. A children's ministry is conducted at the Lily Pad Day Care on the southeast corner of Council Street and Boyson Road.

Sunday School
Our Sunday school is a time for studying God's Word and learning how to incorporate it's teaching into our everyday lives. It is held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. There are classes for all ages. Typical topics include studying books or passages of the Bible, current events and how they relate to Christians, and "how-to" studies to help us grow spiritually.

Sunday Night Live
Sunday Night Live is every three months on a Sunday evening at 6 p.m. It's a time for the body to gather together for a unique worship experience. There's lots of music by our outstanding Praise Team, dramas, testimonies, interviews, and more. In this informal context of worship, we desire to make it easy for unchurched people to be introduced to Living Hope Church. Watch the home page for dates.

LAFF Groups
LAFF is an acronym for Learning and Fun Fellowship. LAFF groups are small groups that meet at various times and places throughout the week--usually in homes. Their purpose is to provide a place for building relationships, helping people feel a sense of purpose and belonging, studying biblical truth, and praying together.

Clubhouse
Clubhouse is a ministry for preschool and elementary kids. It is held on Wednesday evenings at the church from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The children play games, sing, and study the Bible in an atmosphere that makes learning fun! A capable staff of enthusiastic workers minister to the children under the direction of Terri Carter.

Transitions
Transitions is a ministry for "tweens"--those not quite teens and not quite kids. This group is for 5th and 6th graders and meets at the church on Wednesdays evenings from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Living Hope Youth
The youth meet every Sunday night at the church at 5:30 - 7 p.m. Under the direction of Youth Pastor Brenda Olmsted, a safe, Christian environment is created where teens have fun together and learn how to grow in their Christian faith through a study of God's Word. For more information, call Pastor Brenda at 373-6921 or e-mail her at dakotalicsw@yahoo.com.
